  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Much like my training provider, I can rely on my manager/mentor to point me in the right direction with any problem that I am having. There is also the HR team that can answer any questions about my employment.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • This is one thing that is a slight negative about my apprenticeship. Although it is great that I get free training, the hourly rate is very low, which makes it hard to live especially as an adult.

    5/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There aren't really any outside activities to do with my job. Unless you include occasionally visiting one of our nurseries, but this would be during work hours. There is an awards night every year though.

    6/10

  • 9. Would you recommend Hadland Care Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very good company to work for because of the pleasant environment and nice people. They offer steady, enjoyable work and everyone has a significant purpose.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Hadland Care Group?
  • For me, it started out quite hard because of the lack of experience that I had. I would certainly consider a job here if you have experience in a similar, smaller environment. However the application process is straight forward, and with a good HR team, you should have no trouble applying here.
