1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I currently work the CRM Marketing Department for Peugeot. My day to day tasks include updating the BAMAC database, liaising with the other marketing departments, sending emails to the customer database, updating the Direct mail that customers receive and many more. I also do a lot of admin work for the department including filing and keeping records of different activities.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Throughout my apprenticeship I have learnt may new skills and expanded on my existing ones too. For example, before the apprenticeship I was punctual and organised, however, during my apprenticeship I have expanded these skills. I have also learnt may new skills, especially on the different systems that I use that are essential to my role in the Marketing department, for example using Neolane and BAMAC.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme at PSA Peugeot Citroen a great deal. All of the people that I work with are friendly and willing to lend a helping hand if needed. I feel as though I am supported in my role and have the support structure in place to help me succeed.

4. How valued do you feel by PSA Group?

I feel very valued by PSA Peugeot Citroen especially in my role, as I am given real responsibilities and I feel as though my team rely on me for some of the day to day tasks that I complete. Also, whenever I do a good job my department show appreciation.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well organised and structured. When I started we were given an induction and it was presented clearly what departments we would be in and how we would achieve our qualification and once in the department you are given set tasks and all the support needed to achieve those tasks.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

I receive a lot of support from my training provider. When I am completing assignments, if I am struggling I know that I can contact my assessor and he will lend a helping hand. Also, at the beginning of the training my assessor told me clearly what the structure was and how I would achieve my qualification.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer offers me a lot of support. My manager in my department supports me in my role and if I am ever struggling or need to ask a question she is more than happy to help. Also, the wider company such as HR are very supportive and always make sure that we are happy in our role.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

For an apprenticeship, the salary that we receive is very generous and covers my day to day costs sufficiently and has also allowed me to purchase a company car which is something I would not have been able to afford beforehand. Therefore, the salary that we receive is very good and covers all costs well.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

There are many opportunities outside of work as the business is located just outside the city centre. Also, there are often opportunities to attend company event such as quiz nights etc. and also the company have sports teams which you can take part in. Therefore there are many opportunities to take part in activities outside of work.

9. Would you recommend PSA Group to a friend?

I would recommend PSA Peugeot Citroen to a friend because I believe it is a very good company to work for with very good benefits. Also, working for PSA Peugeot Citroen offer you many different opportunities to succeed in the workplace and give you the support system that you may need to do so.
