  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Credit Controller, my daily job is to work with some of the full time CFS staff and help them with customers. I have power over some of my own accounts as well that I run on my own. My department is centred around the last day of the month as the role is cash collection. So on that day my work load becomes bigger as I have to allocate incoming payments as well as talk to customers and advise with payments.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've increased my knowledge of the working environment as well as my knowledge of accounts. Which was limited before due to my background being from formal education and reading the news. It helps with my AAT qualification that I am doing as paid for by 3M

  • I enjoy my job very much, the workload can sometimes be lacklustre, but that is not the fault of the company, merely a formality of the department

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I still live at home so I do not have many living costs except for paying for my car and social life. In an ideal world I would like to be paid more as sometimes my finances are a bit stretched as my commute to work is quite far however I know that my education is being paid for by work so I have little to complain about
