  • First year trainee apprentice. Training in multiple essentials of the engineering profession such as, machining, pneumatics training, electrics and electronics training, hydrolics training, mechanics training, welding training, and completion of level 3 BTEC engineering qualifications.

  • I have learnt many new valuable skills and developed on previous skills in multiple aspects of engeneering.

  • i have thoroughly enjoyed the program, each day presents new learning and growth opportunities with new challenges and experiences

  • 4. How valued do you feel by BMW Group?
  • I feel highly valued through diffrent aspects of working life. throughout the workplace I am recognised as an apprentice and feel supported and welcomed as a training worker.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program is very well structured and organised, with many specific aspects of work and training structured around ensuring independent confidence for working in the future, whilst each aspect presents new learning opportunities for growth as a future worker.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • throughout the workplace and whilst training i feel as that i constantly have support in any way possible. the trainers and managers of the program are always willing to listen to feedback in order to constantly improve my learing.

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer in many ways and feel as though i have the full suport of the company to help me in any way possible to grow as an individual.

  • My salary comfortably meets my costs with room for personal expenditure, and i feel as though it will continue to do so as it raises whilst i grow as an individual.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • yes the company offer many opportunities as it is an essential part of the local community. As a large buisness many events and acctivities are held to reach out to the community as a buisness.

  • BMW group offer an excellent opportunity to start your working life in the engineering industry with great room for growth as an indipendant individual at a younger age.

  • Ensure you are sure that this is the career path you would like to take, the 4 year course is a long term commitment that will definitely pay off.
