1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

8/10

My job title is standards and controlls. At the moment i am at college 3 days a week however i still get some tasks at the moment i am on a research task regarding new equipment. Daily i am seeing my colleagues and i feel that i share a good working relationship with them. On a normal day i will come to work and then perform any tasks that i have to do regarding projects i am working on this can change day to day regarding my projects. I also spend some time shadowing members of the team to understand what they are doing and gain some insight from them.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

9/10

During college i am developing many qualifications from the hands on level 2 qualifications to the in depth level 5. I have been on some local training courses regarding the local information and software that we work on. I have also learnt a great number of personal skills at dealing with people and how to get the best out of members of the team.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

9/10

I enjoy the work and also the team i am in. I find sometimes it is difficult for my manager to give me as many tasks as he would like to due to me being at college 3 days a week meaning that my time at work is short.

4. How valued do you feel by Jaguar Land Rover?

10/10

I feel very valued from the company my manager is always open and honest with me and gives me appreciation where its needed. I am given some tasks but however I would like to be given more but it is difficult not spending enough time at work.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

8/10

My programme has been well organised with a clear plan of college work and also how i will be progressing in the business. However there is some doubt of one qualification as to weather I will be doing this or weather it will be left and this is causing some confusion.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

10/10

I receive adequate support from the training provider and am able to complete the work and assignments even on some areas that I may be weaker in. We are given a work based training manager that we can go to any time if we have any doubts or queries as to what we are doing.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

9/10

I receive lots of support from my employer and i am easily able to get through work and also if i have any problems the team i work in are all very easily approachable and able to help me or point me in the right direction if i need any help. The general attitude towards supporting me is good.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

10/10

The salary meets the costs of living well I am able to rent a house locally and also don't generally struggle for money however travel to some sites can be difficult but there are always buses and services put on by the company.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

9/10

Yes there are many opportunities to participate in extra activities or to help HR in recruiting new members into the apprenticeship. There are some local community events that can be attended. There are also a good social relationship in the team often going to local places.
