1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Higher apprentice that works on a clients site daily. I am involved in providing development fixes for the accounts systems.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a huge amount from Capgemini but also am constantly learning from the work I do on a day to day bases.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working with capgemini staff and the clients. I Really enjoy working with the team I am on.

4. How valued do you feel by Capgemini?

I feel valued by both Capgemini and Client staff. I have been given great opportunities and am becoming more and more involved in certain aspects of the project.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program has been organised very well. I have had no problems with the organisation during my training or any time after. It would maybe have been nice to have a few hours a week allocated to apprenticeship work but that would then take away from the learning you get from doing the account work.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

The training provider has give us a huge amount of support from the beginning and has continued to do so till this day.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support during our training period was incredibly high. Once you complete your training and join the business the support is there but can sometimes be harder to get hold of due to the busy schedules of others.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

The salary is one of if not the best for an apprenticeship program.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

Due to working at a client site I have to travel 2 1/2 hours per day. Many of my colleagues have been given accommodation near the client site so when they run events its not very practical for me to participate, which is a shame.

9. Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

I have already recommended friends to join Capgemini and know of one who is currently going through the application process. I believe Capgemini provide the best all round package.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?

Be honest, prepare for the interview and assessment centres.
