I am a marketing apprentice at Fujitsu and during my 2 year apprenticeship, I rotate around the 4 areas in marketing so I gain a full experience of each job role. My job roles include running campaigns, organising events, creating collateral and assets, e.t.c
Yes, I am continuously learning and developing at Fujitsu. I am completing a level 4 business apprenticeship and I am learning professional skills through the work I do.
The team at Fujitsu are great! They make me feel welcome and also make me feel like any other member of staff by giving me the same opportunities and lots of responsibility. I am enjoying work much more than I ever thought I would.
I get a lot of appreciation from my manager and during the 6 months I have been here, I have received 2 stars awards for my great work. I work very closely with my manager and he constantly pushes me to learn more.
My programme is well structured as we have 4 rotations during the 2 years and my apprenticeship has on-going work books to complete as part of my training. I get a lot of support from my line manager on my apprenticeship and also my assessor is very helpful.
I meet with my training provider on a monthly basis and they are always a phone call away if I need them. I receive lots of guidance in these meetings and support from them.
All members of staff at Fujitsu are very helpful, no matter the level of hierarchy, they are willing to help. I have worked with senior management on several occasions and receive a lot of respect from them.
Although, the travel into London is a lot of money, I benefit from getting an apprenticeship oyster card. This saves me 30% off my travel. The salary at Fujitsu is good compared to other apprenticeships and after 1 year, it increases.
Yes I have attended several events outside of work which I have found beneficial. Also, Fujitsu are very proud to support charities so I have volunteered to help at several charity events with my colleagues and fellow apprentices.
Yes
I would recommend Fujitsu as they are a company full of opportunities and you will learn a lot throughout your apprenticeship. You are given so much responsibilities and I have enjoyed my role so far.
Prepare for your interview but most of all enjoy your interview. They are very keen on employees being fun and willing to try new things as well as get stuck in at the deep end and learn.
