  • 4. How valued do you feel by NatWest?
  • I do feel valued by RBS as the have clearly invested a large amount into the apprentices. However i also feel that Graduates are much more valued than us as there are more opportunities for them.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In my opinion my program has not been very organised or well structured. Often when asking questions about the structure of the scheme is seems that nobody really knows. My training was delayed due to bad organisation and there is no clear timescale for how long the apprenticeship is supposed to last. Also the role I have been placed in was not mapped to my training.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary does currently cover all my costs as I still live at home and I am happy with the salary I get at the moment. Also compared to other apprenticeships RBS compensate their employees very well.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes I regularly get a variety of emails about volunteering opportunities outside of work. There are also many extra activities outside of my role which I can get involved in.

  • 9. Would you recommend NatWest to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it is a very welcoming organisation that supports their employees well. The majority of colleagues I have met have been extremely well and the company compensates their employees well.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest?
  • To spend a couple hours researching about the organisation, for example what they are involved in or their history. Also to act themselves as all managers are very nice people.
