I was in a different department everyday, on each day I was usually assigned research tasks that gave me a clearer idea of what that particular department was like.
My research skills have dramatically improved since I started because I can now easily pick out the relevant information needed> My confidence skills have also improved.
I very much enjoy the programme because it challenges me to the right level, this means that it is rare I am bored. The people I work with are also really friendly, which contributes a lot to the enjoyment of the programme.
I do feel valued by Pinsent masons because of the multiple presentations given to me that enriched my knowledge, however I would probably feel more valued if I was given 'real' tasks to complete and I was there for a longer period of time.
The programme is extremely structured and organised because of the pre-planned work given, the timetable given at the beginning of the week, and the well though out planned presentations.
I receive a good amount of support from my training provider and I am always welcome to go and ask for support or any queries I have about the tasks I have been set.
I received a substantial amount of support from my employer because of the welcome package outlining any queries I may have and answering them and informing me of where I can gain support on a number of issues.
I cannot really answer this question because I'm only a week long work experience programme, however the employer did pay a value of up to £5 for my lunch every day, but no travel costs were paid for.
I was informed of the opportunities available, such as the Starfish programme and joining a sport team, however I was unable to participate in these opportunities.
