1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
i start off by completing some excess, then I will have a catch up meeting with a member of my team to see how I can help. this includes simple reports, chasing customers and keying accounts
2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have learnt many new skills in relation to finance such as financial anlaysis, I have also completed many internal training programes and I am currently working towards my PBC
3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I have really enjoyed the program, my team has been very helpful and welcoming, I have been given proper tasks and responsibilities to complete and I have learnt many new skills
4. How valued do you feel by RBS?
I feel very valued by rbs, they have treated me with respect and have recognised any successes that I have made. I feel like I have been well supported by rbs
5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
my programme has been well structured and well organised. I have had clear dates set for any tasks/ exams I need to do and have been well supported with my progress
6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
I receive lots of support from my training provide, we have regular meetings both face to face and over the phone. If I ever have any questions they are happy to help
6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
I receive a lot of support from my employer. I have been provided with everything I need to complete my apprenticeship and have had lots of support with my development
7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
my salary package meets my costs very well. I have more than enough money for living and travel cost and have plenty left over for the weekend
8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
their are lots of great opportunities outside of work. this ranges from charity and fundraising events to visits to other departments within the bank
9a. Would you recommend RBS to a friend? *
9b. Why? *
rbs have been very supportive in my development and have given me several oppertunities to help me with my carer. the pay is not bad aswell
10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to RBS? *
do not worry about how much experience you have as they are looking for someone to develop, not somebody who knows everything already. also make sure that you are well prepared for your interview
