I work within Investment Change. We as a team provide experienced and investment specific business change resource to support the growing need to deliver regulatory and business driven change.
I have learnt how to manage my work load and prioritise better. I have also learnt more about the Assets Management Industry and how it fit in within the wider Financial service.
I enjoy the programme very much. It has broadened my understanding and helped me see the different work opportunities within the Asset Management Industry.
I feel valued by how I am treated within the company. The company treats you fairly and values your input. They also help you identify and utilise your strengths.
The programme is structured. At the beginning you are given a year calendar of all the training courses you will attend and networking events that available.
We receive the right amount of support from our training providers as they are always there to answer any questions and queries we may have.
Your manager is always there to offer any guidance or advice when it is needed. They also always encourage you to ask questions as there is no such thing as a stupid question. Also they help you build connections by introducing you to people around the business that you may need in the future. This also help you build your profile within the Business and get your name out there.
The salary/package was what expected. It covers all expenses whilst also giving me enough me to go out and enjoy my social life. We also get good company benefits including Gym membership.
There are always external events happening at Schroder's.Schroder's offer activities such as bowling, ping pong, cooking classes, wine tasting etc.
Yes
Schroder's offers so much more than just a job within Asset Management, it gives you the opportunity to grow as a person and give you a great insight into the world of work. They help you develop your knowledge. They also offer opportunities that you don't come by often.
I would recommend that people just be themselves throughout the whole application process. Show you will work hard and demonstrate an interest in finance. Lastly make your CV the best it can be don't cut corners on your CV.
