  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Sales associate Customer service is priority. Day to day I help with deliveries and work on the shop floor. As a school leaver you get the opportunity to take on extra responsibilities and help out the management team. You are recommended as a senior so you can help on a daily basis with returns and exchanges. You also have the chance to help make decisions within the department.

  • Harrods offers a lot of voluntary opportunities. As well as this they also offer a fitness club after work once a week and welcome any other event ideas.

  • Harrods is a lot of fun to work at. I have met extremely interesting people throughout the programme from all areas of the business from shop floor to senior members.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Harrods?
  • The application process is really good fun. There is a lot of group exercises to test you teamwork skills. As a school leaver they realise you don't have much experience but as long as you are willing to learn you will be fine.
