When you are assigned to a project a normal day at work involves a lot of on the job learning with the completion of the more basic tasks on the project. When not assigned to a project you have the opportunity to take advantage of the excellent e-learning resources.
I have learned about many technologies that I didn't even know existed as well as completing tasks using these technologies I have also been able to use existing knowledge of other subjects to help with more business oriented work.
I find that the programme is an excellent is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills while developing as an individual in a strong business environment.
While it is very apparent that I am at a very junior level i still feel like a valuable member of the team.
On the side of my business I am very happy with all organisation but on the side of QA there have been a few administrative mistakes.
Different teaching staff provide different levels of support and I find are very good teachers but there are still those I find could improve on their engagement with students.
While at work there is a great support network in place and even if you are unable to find a specific person everyone in the office is either happy to help or able to point you in the direction of someone who can.
I am capable of living on the salary but it does make it quite difficult to run my car and travel to work while still being social at weekends and not being consumed by work.
There are a lot of activities run for members outside of work to socialize and take part in team building activities which also helps to make new employees feel welcome and part of the team.
Yes
They are a great company to work for and give young members great opportunities within the organisation and do not dwell on level of experience too much.
I would tell them to read about the company and not to be too worried about technical knowledge a little knowledge can go a long way in these interviews.
