My job title is an Analytical Programmer, this means I oversee other projects and make sure that there are no mistakes or errors in the developers programming. I work along side very experienced consultants who really know their stuff, this allows me to get a lot of knowledge during my time here. I'm currently working on an SQL database system with application program
I've learnt: - SQL - JAVA - C++ - Professionalism - Organisational Skills - Time management
I'm really enjoying my time here
Quite a lot
Very structured, we have a schedule and training program from both CGI, and QA
I get a lot of help from my tutor and assessor and helps me to understand better
I get most of my support from my employer as they can teach me a lot about the projects and programs that I'm using and show me how the programming languages are put into action.
Very comfortably, I can afford all my living/travel costs with a little extra on the side for me
Not really
Yes
They're a very good company with a very good reputation
Make sure you keep up to date on your skills and programming language, they're easy to learn and can come in very handy one day
