  • Work on the DSP smart metering project Manage VDIs, new joiners and risk management,allocate VDI's on a daily basis and manage new joiners and risks once a week

  • yes learnt new more advanced excel skills and specific project reporting tools

  • enjoy what i do at the minute but would like a more exciting role in the future

  • very valued, manager gives me praise when i do something good which encourages me.

  • very well organised with good communication, training and support is offered to a high extent, given enough work, however could at times be more understanding of the fact that i am studying as well.

  • good support for work and is very informative, however could be more supportive towards my university studies.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • good support from everyone in general, very pleased. Mentors and people managers offer a fantastic support network which is really helpful at times.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • wage should be higher considering i had to relocate. travel costs to university could be paid.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • good social scene both in and out of work. lots of networking events are offered. am involved in both the sports club and volunteering with CSR.

  • Yes

  • fantastic opportunities to work in many different industries around the world. Great support and social scene.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • be honest and don't pretend to be someone you're not, do your research on the company and be enthusiastic.
