  • I am a Digital Strategy Consultant, working a mixture of client based strategic roadmap development and value analysis and interns business development activity.

  • I have developed my analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify value driven strategic development ambitions for clients

  • I do enjoy the work side more than university due to my way of learning; I find practical working and learning to be the most effective.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by CGI?
  • Very. Both on the sponsored degree programme as well as being placed on an emerging talent programme I feel valed by my direct and wider teams

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very. The day to day running of uni works well and the support is there when needed and there is a lot of rigour to development

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • A lot. Day to day university support is available from lecturers and especially in 3rd year from dissertation supervisors as well as those I work with

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Again, a lot. They are very understanding of the demands of the programme and what pressure we're under so are accommodating.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It is good, could be better due to my promotion but I am able to manage my outgoings and still save money every month

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes, from football to sports and socia club membership. There are activities throughout the year

  • Yes

  • It is a great opportunity to be on the sponsored degree programme and the opportunities it gives.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Consider your career path, don't always stick to it as there may be something you find more interesting but have an idea before you join to shape your early development
