  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Software Analyst, this means that I have meetings with the clients and get their requirements of how they want their app to be like. Then I implement it in the app. Throughout that time we have to have skype meeting with different groups as well as the clients so that they can validate our work as we are going along.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My current project taught me the Analytics tool on Salesforce, this is useful because many people would love to have that experience. Also I gained experience from web development and basic Java training from QA

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme because there are a lot of opportunities here, like all the societies Accenture has also all the events that Accenture does, like it's really good.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Accenture?
  • At first I felt a bit intimidated because I was the lowest level and I came in with less or no technical experience. But when I started going to the events and befriending MD's and Senior managers, I felt quite fine; like I set my place in Accenture

  • The structure is alright because they had set dates to when our training was which is good for people who are on projects.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • QA tutors were nice because they would give us certificates and free stuff to help motivate us

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my manager because I usually speak a lot slang; but my manager is trying to make me talk all business-like which was really helpful for other projects that I'll be joining.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It is really good, it helps me save to buy a house.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are a lot of opportunities outside work varying from clubs and societies in Accenture to events and parties that Accenture hosts. Plus Accenture give 3 charity days for the annual year so you get paid whilst doing charitable work, which is beneficial to me because I will be running a 10k marathon in July

  • Yes

  • It is a great opportunity!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • Make sure you read the questions properly on that test. Also make sure you include everyone. Also ask the interviewer questions to show that you are interested in the opportunity
