On a day to day basis I read any relevant publications to do with my job. I book on with the TAC. I either go out and do and track inspection and report what I find or I do track maintenance.
I have learnt so many new skills and techniques whilst working on the underground. I've learnt new and better ways of doing my job. Better ways of doing maintenance activities and individual jobs.
I really enjoy my programme I learn a lot from the different places I go to and the people I meet I enjoy working and learning at the same time and how much you can learn is endless.
I feel very valued by my company and I'm glad that I'm in it. I feel like I'm apart of the family and would like to further my career and think that this company will help me.
I think that my programme is well structured and organised as I know where I need to be at every point of my time. I know when I'm doing my courses and my scheduled time off.
I feel I receive good support from my training provider and I know if I need anyone I can just pick up the phone and they will sort out any problem I may have.
I feel I receive good support from my employer and I know I need anyone within the company I can pick up the phone call someone and they will sort out my problem if not they will send me to someone that can.
I think it meets it well as I'm still learning my job and got a while to go but benefits I am getting already such as 75 percent off my train ticket my free travel around London.
Yeah you meet a lot of people doing this job and make a lot of friends so networking and going out in social nights and evenings.
