1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
We were doing the role of a trainee in different sections of the business to get a well rounded view of the firm. We did the basic ground work for cases and researched into what may apply to each case
2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
My proof reading skills have improved as attention to detail is crucial. I have also improved my note taking skills as we sat in on client meetings and took notes on certain cases and law involved. They have trained me how to use the computer system so I could work effectively. I've improved my organisation and task planning due to the help of the employees and tasks we got set.
3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I have truly enjoyed my time here, the employees have made me feel very welcome and they have included me as if I was one of them. A huge amount, they allowed me to use the skills they explained in practise on actual cases and meant I could progress, the gave regular feedback and meant I could improve and correct any mistakes.

The managers had an overview of what was occurring and commented to the trainers on where we were good and some areas for improvement which meant that we could complete the jobs which they wanted us to do.

It's on voluntary basis so this meant I paid more than what I initially receive but the future salary is very good and could lead to a very good career. They also will follow my progress which could lead to a further job in the future.
8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
Yes, there's socials and many client interactions which you may attend. Towards the end of the week, there was more social interacts. The gym is very close so this means the sports part of me could still active whilst in an office environment, there is also office teams which is important when working here as a full time job
