  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The level of training and knowledge gained is higher than I would have expected and I would rate it higher than some college/university training. My team are great and the atmosphere at work is always good.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by E.ON?
  • I do not really receive any recognition for the level of skill I provide to my role as I believe it is beyond that of a craftsperson (my title). If I were to seek employment elsewhere I have been informed that I could be commanding at least a technician level or engineer.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary in comparison with others which do equal or less work than me is upsetting. I believe that a culture of "who you know" is prevalent and therefore opportunities for me to advance are slim to none.

    2/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • yes. I am part of a makers club and but none of this is related to work. There are two annual company events

    6/10

  • 9. Would you recommend E.ON to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe that the antiquated culture of management based on when soldiers automatically received management jobs after the war has been passed down through apprentices to managers their entire work life is based in one place and they have not seen how modern forward thinking companies operate. ( this is obviously regarding the power station)

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • Dont
