  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I have been a summer school intern based on the audit floor. This means I have worked as part of the audit team on a number of different client's accounts. I have been able to go offsite and visit two clients for a total of 3 days (out of the 9 days in the Leicester office). As well as working in audit I have also had the opportunity to go to different departments and experience different job roles. These departments include accounting and business advisory, business restructure and personal and corporate tax. Externally I have been talking to clients and interacting with them to obtain the information needed for audit tests.
