I am a finance co-ordinator, this means that i do everything from costing materials to sell, to running general accounting tasks like bank reconcilliations.
I am currently studying my AAT and will go on to study my CIMA or ACCA. However, i have been learning new words, acronyms and just general professional ethics around the office.
I love my program, The people I work with are so friendly and 3M offer so many options out side of the office from football teams to climbing mountains which is awesome.
I feel highly valued by my manager, she gives me high importance tasks as she believes i am able to complete these and has faith that my standard of work will be acceptable.
My programme is well organised college days are dictated before the start of the course and our monthly meetings with our Agencies allow us to speak about anything bothering us
I recieve a lot of support from my college they offer 24/7 contact which allows us as students to ask any questions we may have instead of having to wait for weeks.
My employer provides a huge deal of support in the workplace and out of it. My manager helps me understand new tasks and sits with me till i am confident and they are always about if i have a question.
My salary is higher than many people in my position and it has allowed me to put away a bit extra each month and also i have now got the opotunity to go on more holidays which is a bonus
3M offer huge oppotunities outside of the work place. With football teams to rugby teams. They also offer family days with activities for kids like petting zoos to face painting.
