  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • As of yet I have not had my induction to the apprenticeship scheme as I was not able to make it. Separately I had my induction with Nomura on the first day I joined which gave me an overview of who they company are, what their values are etc. My assessor has been in to visit me twice and is always very supportive and helpful. She is always available for me to contact should I feel it's necessary.

  • The company hold a wide range of events. They have a lot of benefits such as using the gym at a reduced rate. • 9. Would you recommend Nomura to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Nomura is a very well respected company and they are a pleasure to work for. You can learn so much whilst being here and they are so supportive. They have a wide range of benefits they offer, they are a good company to have on your CV. Nomura are very good to their employees in so many aspects that I most definitely would recommend them to a friend.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nomura?
  • The application process was very easy in itself as when applying for an apprenticeship you go through the apprenticeship company who select a few people to attend interviews with the employer. The interviews for myself span over 3 weeks but there were some issues with the previous apprentice that they want to be 100% sure. The interviews were very fair, I always felt like I got my chance to talk and I got a very good insight into the role.
