  • 9b. Why?
  • It has been a fantastic opportunity so far and i am really enjoyig it. I have learned a lot and still have a year to go. Everybody is friendly - it feels like one big family here and i would more than happily reccommend it to a friend knowing they would recieve a great deal of support and a fantastic opportunity to start a brilliant career.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Dstl?
  • I would give the advice that it feels like a long time before you really feel settled here - simply as there is so much to learn. Give yourself 6 months to feel settled and get to know peoples names. Nobody is expecting you to settle before then and you will be supported for as long as you need it - you will always feel as though your contribution is valuable.
