Tracking activity and engagement of our PPD field teams. Onboarding new starters through the PPD induction. Assisting internal events.
I have improved my organisation and time management skills by leading multiple projects at one time. I have developed my presentation skills through presenting at team meetings.
I enjoy leading projects and having autonomy. I also enjoy connecting with others within my team and networking with people in the division. I sometimes struggle with work/life balance, however my manager and early careers network are always there to support me.
The communication from our university provider can sometimes be unclear, therefore assignment briefs and deadlines become difficult to manage. The communication from my manager is amazing, tasks and project briefs are super clear and she is always there to listen to my problems.
From my manager and team, they are always there to support me regarding any issue that I have. The early careers network are also very supportive and can answer any questions I have.
The university provider are often unclear on communications regarding assignments and exams. We have flagged this as a cohort to our employer and have seen an improvement in the communication as a result.
Studying a business degree has helped me to liaise with key stakeholders within the company regarding issues such as sustainability and human resources.
We have divisional socials once every month and have socials with our early careers network, however this depends on your division/team.

L'Oreal is extremely supportive and encourages the development of their early careers profiles. I feel like part of the wider community and valued within my team as an apprentice.
