New skills include problem-solving, logical thinking, and technical programming skills in various programming languages
I enjoy the challenge of the programme and the process of learning new skills from senior developers
The technical learning is immediately applicable to the daily work on the job so my programme is well organised.
I get all the support I need to succeed. There are plenty of training opportunities outside of the apprenticeship including shadowing and additional learning to upskill
The support is there when needed
The technical skills in the DTS programme such as coding workshops could be improved significantly especially for software engineering roles
