  • Assistant Relationship Manager, speaking with clients and attending to their needs. Forming relationships which encourage growth for the business with the Bank as a supporting partner.

  • My communication skills have improved as I am expected to communicate with customers on a day to day basis. I am constantly in different types of conversations with customers, varying in urgency, severity and complexity.

  • Very well organised

  • I feel very supported in my role. There are many different levels of support available to me through different teams, managers and colleagues.

  • A good amount of support. I feel prepared sufficiently for each assessment ahead of attaining my qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification is building a strong foundation of understanding of the sector I work in which enables me to feel more comfortable in front of customers. The apprenticeship also teaches me about the necessary skills for my role which I can work on and track using the resources provided.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is a range of social events put together by the apprenticeship team and my regional team. There are different Employee Led Networks to join for religion, ambitions, hobbies.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • A great place to work. A friendly welcoming company with high ambitious goals to strive for. I feel like I am learning something new everyday and I doubt the learning will ever stop.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
  • Be ambitious in your goals and understand that job you are applying for is not necessarily where you will end up. The bank is very large and the opportunity for growth within is outstanding.
