This was a complete career change for me so I have developed an array of new skills in regards to mineral extraction and the manufacturing of asphalt.

I absolutely loved the Professional Operator Development Programme (PODP). Every month I looked forward to going to the Safety Park where we would be taught new skills by experienced individuals. I enjoyed completing all the coursework we were given.

Very well organised! There was an entire team at Tarmac dedicated to ensuring the programme ran smoothly. Even the booking of hotels for trips away was all taken care of.

Tarmac is very supportive of any training. I was given all the time I needed to complete my course. I now look forward to continuing my studies at university.
