  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Responsible for coordinating all CPD activities for permanent members of staff, both internal and external. This includes providing administrative support to those who are employed at Barking and Dagenham College and for external clients. Other responsibilities include: • managing and facilitating ‘Whole College Training Days’ across all five campuses at Barking & Dagenham College, keeping the appraisal information up to date, raising purchase orders, processing payments, liaising with all managers regarding their training needs and providing staff with their training history. • preparing packs for all training courses and additionally monitoring attendance and compiling feedback from the courses. • ensuring that all relevant information for staff’s long course applications are up to date to enable the college to provide statistics around staff qualifications and training history.

  • I loved working on my apprenticeship as I met loads of lovely people who never spoke down to me regardless my position
