Calculate member benefits upon retirement, death benefits payable and answer scheme member enquires

Developed IT skills, calculating final salary scheme benefits, formal writing, telephone manners.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

has been challenging and stressful but I have learnt alot from this experience

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The beginning and the end of the apprenticeship was not been organised and has had last minute assignments due. Also have not always provided enough time for these assignments to be completed.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

BW have been helpful but have had up and down moments when we have had busy periods.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The Growth Company could have been better. Their organisation can improve and were sometimes not great at responding to inquiries regarding assignments.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Yes, the qualification has help me in my role with understand why I do certain calculations.

It is a very social workplace, always lots of events

Yes

I have personally found the apprenticeship quite stressful because of the organisation and time given for assignments and it is hard to balance apprentice work and day to day tasks. However it is a very social workplace and friendly people.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barnett Waddingham?

Make sure you are organisation right from the beginning to create routine and habits.
