Check my list of priorities, attend pre-scheduled meetings, respond to high-priority emails, or make calls via MS Teams to ensure project team focus. Allocate personal time to myself to concentrate on day-to-day tasks and complete them efficiently.
Yes, I have learnt since start. I now manage my time using the Covey Priority Matrix, which categorizes tasks by urgency and importance, and the Ken Blanchard ABCD model, which builds trust through Ability, Believability, Connection and Dependability. These tools resonate with me and have improved my skills.
The course aligns with my aspirations, helping me develop as a Senior Project Planning Team member. I need to enhance my leadership skills to apply them in my daily work and professional life. This programme is crucial for my growth and effectiveness in my role.
The course is very well-detailed organised and structured, covering all essential content. Topics include project management, selection, planning, finance, risk management, leadership, relationship building, communication, self-management, decision making, evaluation, progress tracking and project outputs. This comprehensive structure ensures thorough understanding and application of key concepts.
Since the course began, the sponsorship team, HR L&D team, my line manager and colleagues have supported me. Especially my line manager checks my progress, offer constructive feedback, attend quarterly reviews with my PDE, assess my progress and suggest improvements. Their support has been invaluable throughout my course journey.
Since the course began, the training provider (PDE) Professional Development Expert, gave clear instructions and guidance through all communication channels, including group workshops, presentations interactions and via emails. PDE follow up with one-on-one sessions, offering constructive feedback on each Unit module to ensure I cover them correctly.
The course aligns with my career development ambitions and areas for improvement as a Senior Project Planner, who work in the construction industry for over 25 years. It provides a perfect opportunity to perform my role better and add value to myself and the organisation supporting my growth.
Yes, there are weekly professional meetings among the planning team (PMO). I also attend monthly social events organised by the client we work with, occasional sports events and social gatherings with the project team outside work. Also attending few voluntarily event where I believe add values to those in need.
