I am currently working as a Business Analyst after completing my 6 month rotations which consisted of working in the Service Centre, Manila Admin, UK admin and Project. Daily I join many calls with internal stakeholder's in order to gain the information I need in order to complete my work and I work closely with my team members
I have learnt many new skills, I have develop my skills in maths by learning different formulas used within the pension industry. I have also developed my English skills by learning how to construct emails and letters to members or clients and also writing assignments. I have also learnt digital skills in SQL which is a coding platform
I do really enjoy my program as we are provided with extensive learning and lots of opportunities
my program is very well organised with regular training sessions and knowledge tests which get you thinking. My external training providers (the growth company) training can be up and down and sometime very unstructured
I receive an excellent level of support from my employers with regular mentor check ins and also regular new training opportunities to partake in
we have regular training sessions and revision material from our training providers which prepare me for the exams. I also am provided with mock exams by my manager in order to prep myself
By spreading out the training so it has not all been delivered at once helps as it allows myself time to take all the information I need in.
in my current team we have many opportunities to attend team social evenings - for example the other week we all attend a social at the Light in Redhill so we could all get together outside of work and catch up to get to know each other a bit better
Yes
As the envoirment is an extremely friendly place to work within and everyone is very welcoming ensuring you feel comfortable. You are also let to learn at your own pace and wont need to take an exam if you are not ready. We are also provided with 7 hours weekly in order to catch up on apprentice work and any work we need to complete outside of our daily work.
ensure before the interview to research into the company before hand so you have the upper hand with any questions relating to the business. Be yourself as that's all the company want you to do and be open to new opportunities
