  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Change lead and project management officer. This involves me supporting both teams with their needs. This can range from helping with business changes for the client to helping out with issues in the account. I interact with friendly teams on the daily, and have plenty of support when I need it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As the qualification covers both Business and Tech sided subjects it is great for my organisation as we that is the field of business we work in. It allows me to work on my business skills and also gain an insight into what the other half of the business do.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are always events to get involved in. Our sports and Social club offers things ranging from weekly runs to go-karting. There is something for everyone at all times. When you are an early career like myself you get to enter this club for free to promote social activities.

  • 9a. Would you recommend CGI to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Truly a great place to work. They are so supportive in learning and growth and also offer so many social activates. They are also extremely inclusive and welcoming to everyone. It is also a great business field to be working in.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Be yourself! Personally, when applying to CGI I felt like it was a shot in the dark as I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. However, in assessment centres I was social, talkative, and tried my best to just be open and honest with who I am. I feel that helped me in getting my position.
