  • I train people on our CAD and our POS software, host product training, and guide people through regulations on how to design interiors. I also host leadership and sales training, test software, and support on boarding on new staff

  • yes, I have a much better executive presence

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • my coach is relatable, she is intelligent, she is clearly very passionate, and yet she challenges me, and she offers great guidance. she is also really fun! the teach and learn sessions have been incredibly informative, and have really prepared me for further development.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Really well organised. Regular 1-to-1's, of which i can book more if needs be, Teach and Learn sessions booked monthly and in advance, and regular reviews too!

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots of support! my line manager supports me greatly, other managers support me, directors and head of departments do as well as other colleagues. everyone is very passionate about supporting apprentices.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • so much! TJ explains things in layman's terms if i ever struggle with anything, she points me in the direction or shows me information on the padlet, and offers so much guidance whilst also helping to build my confidence too.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • so much better! I feel like my confidence has grown, like I have a better understanding of what to consider for both the business and our colleagues.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yes, i sometimes get invited out by suppliers, we have social events arranged at work as well, and we sometimes host suppliers/networking events too, but this depends on the cost.

  • Yes

  • keep on top of your OTJ's, and make sure you have at least one reflection per month in your journal that covers lots of different topics!
