Complete inspections and services on suction excavators and T-Vacs and also general duties around the work area.
I have learnt different skills for hand fitting, mechanical assembly, business improvement techniques and project planning whilst at college. I have also learnt new skills at work involving different tools and methods to complete tasks.
I enjoy my programme alot as I am learning new things and i can see that my knowledge is developing in engineering. I am also enjoying being at college as I have made friends and I enjoy what I am learning.
The programme is well organised and structured as there is lots of training opportunities organised for me and time given when needed to complete college work
I receive lots of support from my employer as they give me plenty of time to complete college work as well as support at work on tasks that need doing
I get a lot of support at college with my teachers at I am able to speak with them through teams for advice on the work we do whenever needed
The qualification gives me experience with the industry and the skills I learn are transferable to the work that I do
There is ab early Careers program at my work that I will be involved with for the first two years of my employment that introduces different parts of the business and also let's me network with people from all over the company
