  • My role involved handling invoices, raising PO's having meeting with stakeholders within the business to sort out any problems with orders. Sending orderbooks weekly is also another role and then managing these orders.

  • I have learnt excel skills, developed knowledge around how the supply chain works, people skills.

  • I enjoy the people at Babcock as everyone is so friendly and always willing to help training you.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Is a little less structured as placements for a few people were not very good as we didn't have set placements and we got placed into random ones and sometimes we had no work and were only given repetitive tasks. I have seen though that the new apprentices have a more structured program.

  • A lot of support is provided

  • Good teaching and setting homework to complete is provided by the training provider

  • developing knowledge around the supply chain will help with my day to day role while also completing CIPS.
