I do a lot of work with our operators on site and manage their legal working certification and also raise orders for parts and machines to be delivered out to site I also file operator feedback timesheets on a company internal platform so we can see our business units stats
Ive learnt more communication skills and i am also trying to work more on my confidence
I enjoy my programme I enjoyed online college and I also liked how with the early careers at balfour beatty we got to go to the lake district for 4 days 2 years in a row to do some team building exercises which was very fun
It is very well organised and to date I have learnt a lot and seen new sides to the construction industry from being out on site to learning from my colleagues and everyone here has been so welcoming and helpful all throughout my journey here
We have weekly catchups on a Monday morning to see how im doing professionally and socially in and out of work, and they are there to help me whenever i need help or get stuck on anything
I had received a lot before I passed my apprenticeship and they had helped me with sparing more time to work on my studies so that I could do my best and get the best result possible
I think a lot of it was related to what I do and that has helped me improve in my role and peservered to be better in a professional workplace environment
Yes there is a lot to do from clubs to challenges to build team work ethic and get to meet and converse with people you have never met before to be able to expand your network and make new connections within and all around the business
Yes
It is a very well known and well respected construction company with a lot of great people, benefits and flexibility and a great place to start your career
Just be yourself and be honest with why you are applying and what you are looking for because if it isnt a good fit and you wouldn't enjoy it there is no point in even doing it.
