  • Interacting with clients and other external professionals as well as colleagues at varying levels to decide upon next steps and the roles of each professional within the project. Understanding the needs of the client and consistently communicating with them and colleagues. Responsibility varies depending upon willingness and ability therefore suited to each individual.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes continually developed my maths and English as well as learning how to inspect different types of buildings, value them and manage them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Very much, I am a rotating graduate therefore have experience the role of a Surveyor within different teams. This has enabled me to understand which role is best suited to me.

  • Very well, there is consistent communication and always someone to reach out to if necessary.

  • A lot, there is support from the specific Graduate team but also mentors within the office and older colleagues that have gone through the same process.

  • A lot always there if I need them but also have regular catch ups.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Good, but some of what is taught is not reflective of the role in practice.

  • Yes lots! Lots of opportunities for sport and networking events.

  • Make your application unique, you want to stand out. Demonstrate you have done your research, state a project you are aware that Savills have been working on and why you think it is interesting!
