I am a rotating graduate surveyor on the Commercial Real Estate pathway. With each rotation, my day-to-day role changes, allowing me to gain insight into different sectors. With each rotation I seek to support the relevant team with key tasks such as data management, market research, and handling client requests.
Yes, I have learnt many new skills particularly those specific to the real estate industry. I have also developed existing, soft skills in communication, time management and team work.
I really enjoy the programme at Savills - throughout the 2.5-year graduate scheme, both my immediate teams and the wider network within the business have and continue to offer outstanding support. There’s always someone I can turn to for guidance when it's needed.
The programme is very well structured - we have regular training days as a cohort and are always able to reach out to our Supervisor/Counsellors for guidance between these days.
I receive an excellent level of support from my employer, both from my immediate teams and from the wider HR/Learning & Development teams within the business. The structured training on the graduate scheme means I always feel supported as I work towards the APC, while the provision of a dedicated study day ensures I am able to keep on top of the part-time Masters.
I receive a lot of support from our training provider and feel very well supported on the part-time Master's programme and in the subsequent lead-up to the APC qualification.
It definitely helps me perform better in my role as a graduate surveyor, by equipping me with the key industry knowledge I need to succeed in supporting my teams as I rotate around the business.
I really enjoy partaking in the company's netball team and attend professional networking events wherever possible.
