I am responsible for running dashboards to send to stakeholders and completing tasks such as data validation.
Become more competent on excel and learning new skills about software such as SQL, R, Python etc.
I really enjoy the blend between on the job learning and learning the different content in the modules. I also enjoy the opportunity to complete the live learning with other apprentices and a specialist tutor.
The programme is very well structured and there is always support on hand to help if needed.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. As well as a designated weekly day off to complete my studies, I am also given time off to complete my live learning weeks.
I receive a lot of support from the training provider. There is always someone available to help and they are constantly sending out help and advice in newsletters etc.
The training I complete helps me feel more confident with the software I am using and helps me to understand how the different software works in relation to the activities I do.
So at NatWest there are different streams who host different events for apprentices, these include networking, social events or volunteering events. Alongside this, there are teams within each hub base who run events for all employees.
Yes
They are a brilliant employer with plenty of good benefits for staff and they compensate apprentices really well. They also have plenty of opportunities to get involved in real projects and also events both inside and outside of work.
Think about why you want to work at NatWest specifically compared to other employer - what is it about NatWest that stands out. Think about specific situations where you have shown skills. Research around the job - any councils, volunteering etc etc.
