  • Helping customers with queries and escalating them, organsing meetings with customers to discuss the fraud and operational side of banking, supporting a relationship manager/s, identifying customer needs.

  • Enhanced confidence, communication and public speaking skills as well as conflict resolution and attention to detail.

  • everyday is varied and I love speaking with different customers and helping them with their banking needs.

  • everything is organised clearly and there is always support available if needed.

  • Most people are very willing to help and answer questions and my BPP coach is really helpful and quick at responding to emails.

  • We have weekly zoom calls with my cohort and she is almost always available to support over email too.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Sometimes the learning doesn't match up to my daily tasks but it is useful to understand the bigger picture and financial services as a whole.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have had the chance to be involved in a lot of career fairs/networking events however there isn't many apprentices in my area so travel involving personal expense is sometimes required.

  • Yes

  • The people are welcoming and you are stretched to reach your potential. No one will stop you from trying new things and everyone helps each other so it is a great environment to learn and develop.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
  • Always highlight your work and life experiences. NatWest is looking for more than just good academic performance, so show to them that you have interests and experiences outside of education that have made you a more well rounded individual.
