  • I work within Test Services managing a service which looks across all projects and test environments to identify and manage possible contentions for the business

  • I have been developing existing skill so that I can apply them effectively within my role. I have also just completed a new leader course over 5 months

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying the programme very much and enjoy talking to my learning provider about all the new exciting opportunities I can see and how much I enjoy my work

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Co-op?
  • I feel very valued here as I feel I am listened to and people can see the value of the job I do with my team members. I like proving people with the information I have

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured and I have been given a progress report and have been told I am making good progess. The provider is very knowledgable and helps however she can

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I don't feel I need that much help now. However, at the beginning, they explained the prcess and formats of what I was going to have to do on my programme

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I don't get any support at the moment but that is because I haven't needed it. I know that I am going to need it for future work and I don't foresee any problems getting this

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My current salary is adequate for my day to day costs. Of course, I would like moer, like everyone but it covers everything I need and I don;t have to borrow to get by

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes, ther are lots of opportunities outside work and I am already a volunteer with a number of people who have set up a new LGBT network and a new employee-wide volunteering scheme has been announced this week.

  • 9. Would you recommend Co-op to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The culture is not like anywhere else I have worked. I love the idea of their values, ethics, culture and helping people in the community


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • I would say go for it. It can be demanding sometime but I get satisfaction out of putting a lot of effort in to help the organisation. The opportunities, employee benefits and chance for self-development are fantastic
