I work within Test Services managing a service which looks across all projects and test environments to identify and manage possible contentions for the business

I would say go for it. It can be demanding sometime but I get satisfaction out of putting a lot of effort in to help the organisation. The opportunities, employee benefits and chance for self-development are fantastic
