  • Access Planner - My job role is to service companies with our network, finding a route in to the building to there COMMS room and providing the correct equipment in order for this to work.

  • Yes i have learnt many new skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot, however as i am the only apprentice within my area i have found things a little more challenging. If there where two apprentices took on and we was with each other i think things would become a lot more easy.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Virgin Media O2?
  • I feel very valued by the company as it aims to treat everyone with respect and with equal opportunities.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme has not been very organised as my original manager wasn't local to me, however i have been moved over to a new manager who has made things a lot more easy and we can also communicate better.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • There has been some support given, however when i first started this wasn't always the case.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Within my local team there is a lot of support shown, i can ask any of my team for help whenever i require it and that is a major boost for myself and for my confidence.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Compared to other apprenticeships i can't have any other complaints.

  • I feel there will be within the future.

  • Yes

  • Big company to work for, good programme, good pay.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Virgin Media O2?
  • When applying make sure that its a career that you want and not just something to put you over for the next 18 months. Come at this with a open mind and always be willing.
