  • Admin assistant mainly supporting the Environmental, Health & Safety department. This involves diary management, e-mail communications, regular safety bulletins, support with data analysis and training matrix development.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I developed existing skills including EHS management system fundamentals, auditing and was able to use my creativity for projects.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme was okay and built on knowledge I already had. However due to multiple issues with the provider there were times I Felt forgotten and left to my own devices. The course had zero taught aspects and I basically self taught myself on everything.

  • I found it was not structured well for myself.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My direct line manager has been very supportive and has helped with various aspects. I felt I learned more from my manager than I did from the course itself.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The last tutor who took over as my tutor for the programme was lovely and did try her best but for the majority of the programme I felt I received next to no support for the course.

  • It helped refresh previous knowledge.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Work runs several corporate social responsibility events throughout the year, as well as an annual employee summer get together and occasional quiz nights.

  • Yes

  • Overall it has been a great place to work. Very supportive and offering great opportunities if you want them.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens Healthineers?
  • Be proactive. Don't wait for things to be handed to you. Get involved in events regularly and be prepared to show up and contribute for projects.
