My job role involves calling up new cusotmers to offer market tracking for their energy contracts and other services. Also, contact former cusormers to see if they would like Switch's services.
New skills I've learnt at work is how to handle complex question about their energy contracts, the energy market and using certain scripts to help the customer. The apprensticeship has also helped by learning leaderdership styles, emotional intelligience and different types of customer services.
I enjoy the apprenticeships once a month workshops where we can interact with different people in different jobs with different perspectives of managing staff or customer expereince. I enjoy the breakdown of different subjects e.g. emotional intelligence or leadership styles. This will help me on future projects at work.
The apprenticeship is well structured with monthly workshops and a separate monthly 1-2-1 with my acessor. Where I can plan my learning and other future work tasks to enhance my skills and knowledge.
I receive helpful tips most days, feeback if a particular issue needs addressing to help me, to help new staff with their traning on the phones.
So far I have received regular updates via email about up and coming 1-2-1's and what work or evidence I need to work on before the meeting. It also helps me focus on what evidence I can save and use as part of my development.
My training provider helps me plan ahead, structure my tasks and think ahead about how I can improve and show evidence of learning.
At work they organise after work social gatherings.
