Spend 6-8 weeks in each technical department, learning from technicians and engineers, and being given projects to work on.
Always learning and developing skills at work. This can range from hands on skills, to CAD, to coding etc
I enjoy being an apprentice at Cummins. We are well supported and its a friendly place to be
The programme is very well structured, all of our placements are laid out for us so we know where we are at every point throughout the 4 years
Support is always available
The university is generally ok, but communication can sometimes be slow
Our uni learning supports what we do at work, and vice versa
Apprentices take part in careers fairs and careers events. Clubs and networking events are available.
