Managing the carvery , assessing stock and managing my team.
I’ve gotten a deeper understanding of how the business works and what goes on behind the scenes in a kitchen.
I’m quite enjoying the learning that is pushing me to be better at my job and have the skills to manage people and a kitchen.
I’d say it’s got a loose structure but that is compared to college work so I’m a little biased, it is a course where the responsibility does lie with you to complete the work on your own time.
I receive some support more from co workers to be honest.
My tutor pushes me in the right direction and gives me support to be able to complete my tasks , aptem itself is alright if i had known about the virtual classrooms from the start i might rate this higher.
I feel like it focuses me more to see what I can improve and how to think more like a manager and in cash terms, knowing how to use resources to their best ability.

It owns a wide variety of brands and has many job roles available so it is a versatile company with many locations which is helpful if you move as you can always change sites and maintain your job .
Be honest , hard working and pay attention to details others may not care about , stand out from the rest and be original.
