I worked in costing, helping people throughout Europe in other 3M locations to cost materials and with any issues they had with material costs.
I have developed my skills in problem solving and analysis as they were used daily in my role, which is great because they are used in almost everything these days, and the ability to spot and fix problems is useful no matter where your career takes you
I think that, remembering that this is a job, it's pretty enjoyable, the environment is great and the people are very friendly and down to earth, making it a nice place to work
I feel very valued, I have been given significant responsibilities, which shows me that they have confidence in my abilities
Very well organised, I like it because it's not rigid, there was no "you will do this now, then this, and then this", they understand that you need time to learn and develop your skills.
A massive of support, there is almost always someone to ask whilst at college and then the teachers gave us their phone numbers so that we could contact them with questions at any time.
A lot of support, we have regular meetings to discuss progress and there are always other people around in my team who I can ask for help or advice if I need it.
Very well considering the fact that I am effectively an unqualified worker in this specific field, it covers my travel, which for me is me owning my own car, and paying for its insurance, petrol, road tax etc. and then I have a good amount left after for personal use.
As I work in Bracknell, there are a lot of things to do nearby including restaurants, shopping centers, cinemas etc.
Yes
Because it's a great company with some really interesting and progressive ideas about workplace environment and atmosphere, and the people here are really nice.
Don't let the fact that it's a big company intimidate you, and remember that you need to be the person that stands out, not only as a good worker, but also as a good person, the chances are that at least one of the people interviewing you will be working with you if you get the job, and they won't hire someone who they don't think they'll get along with
