  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is in the customer financial services role, which is basically credit control. Daily tasks mainly involve talking to our customers and ensuring they are paying invoices we send to them on time whilst doing small admin tasks for either new or existing customers. Daily I work with customer services here at 3M, for obtaining items like PODs (proof of deliveries) and raising credit notes for customers who receive incorrect stock etc. I also work with my colleagues in the credit control department, for help or supporting them. My responsibilities are my own set of customers, I call the same people once/twice or more a month to see if invoices have been received, dealing with any queries and seeing what they are paying us for month end.
