I support the team as well as assisting on my client list. This can involve talking to the clients, talking to markets, checking premium is paid or working out and having agreed a plan that works as well as completing the processing side.
I have developed and deepened my excel skills as well as my professional writing skills. In addition to learning how to use new software that I use for placements and billing.
I enjoy the program a lot, I am able to learn technical skills that deepen and further my knowledge as well as being able to apply what I study to work. Everyone is supportive, encouraging and provides a very happy and safe work space.
Once I started, I was given a timeline of where our training provider wants us to be at set times. This means that we are able to sessions with them during each window to help develop our knowledge on harder topics. They allow you to go quicker than what they set out and support you if you get behind.
Everyone at WTW is very happy to help. I know that I can ask anyone a question and they will be happy to answer it and if they do not know the answer, they will know someone who will. My manger is very supportive of my study and doing what works best for me. As well as listening to what what is going on work wise and supporting me where I might need it.
We have sessions that happen when we are working towards an exam. These sessions are designed to help deepen our understanding of the harder content as well as being a space that we can ask questions in. They also provide us with lots of online recourses to help our study.
I feel that it is interesting and helpful to see how my study can be applied to my role. There is parts of my qualification that are more inline with what I do, but I still find the other parts helpful for my overall knowledge.
There are a large number of Inclusion and Diversity networks you can join in as well as, apprentice specific activities and coffee randomisers that allow you to meet different people in the organisation.
